The camera is always on standby, and the background in any menu in the app, except in Maps (for clear visibility) is a blurred display of whatever the user is pointing his lens to.

Detection process and information display is a sort of augmented reality. Like mentioned in the project information, I am not sure the technology allows such display on mobiles just yet, but I believe we are getting there sooner than
Databases. Only limited information is shown for untracked elements/animals. Only upon discovery will the user be able to see full description and/or modify/add information to databases.

App sends notification to user whenever they pass by a marked land (view maps below) or a habitat/location for a targeted animal/flower
Users can share locations, nice camping spots, mark habitats, etc...
